As the weather gets warmer, patio and pool parties are just around the corner! If you’re looking to add a unique piece of functional art to your home and patio décor, you need to join us for this fun hands-on workshop that will guide you through the process of resin painting from start to finish!
In this workshop you will design and create a 15’’ galvanized metal tray. All materials will be provided to you in this workshop, including the resin, large selection of micas and pigment pastes for colour selection, safety gear and aprons.
The instructor will demonstrate unique pattern techniques including the signature wave technique, as well as how to measure and mix the resin and pigments. This class is perfect for both beginners and intermediate resin artists as it will provide step by step instructions and ample time to complete your projects. Resin art takes a minimum of 48hrs to fully cure. You will be taking home your wet piece at the end of class, please place the tray on a flat surface, in room temperature air for the remainder of the curing process.
