Spring Afterschool Program

10 WEEKS
Instructor: Julie Wurtele
Bold marker illustrations and expressive pencil drawings, students will explore a wide range of techniques and styles with Julie. Each week introduces new creative challenges—think quirky characters, animals, fantasy scenes, upside-down worlds, patterns, and playful storytelling through art.
This supportive, fun program helps young artists build confidence, improve drawing skills, and develop their own unique style—while learning that there are no mistakes, only happy accidents.
Designed for children aged 7–13.
Supply List: Pencil (2B preferred or HB), soft pencil eg 6B, eraser, pencil sharpener, markers (recommend alcohol markers eg Prismacolor, Copic if possible), coloured pencils, fine black sharpie, ultra fine black sharpie, white paper (eg printer paper), sketch book, smooth white paper eg paper for markers.

Cancellation Policy
NO refund unless class is canceled and No Refund Policy for Unforeseen Cancellations
In the event a class is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as inclement weather or other unforeseen situations, refunds will not be issued. However, the class will be rescheduled to ensure you don’t miss out on the experience. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
Credit Policy
Term Classes and Camps: Refunds or credits are not available for missed classes or camps. However, if you notify us at least 2 weeks in advance, we will issue a credit for future use.
