Develop Your Drawing Skills for Comics, Graphic Novels, and Animation!
Ready to take your drawing to the next level? Whether you're passionate about creating comics, graphic novels, animation, or just want to fill up your sketchbooks with amazing artwork, this class is perfect for you!
What You’ll Learn:
- Improve anatomy drawing for dynamic characters
- Master perspective to bring depth to your art
- Develop storyboarding skills to craft compelling visual narratives
- Explore techniques that lay the groundwork for professional animation
Students are welcome to bring their digital drawing tools (iPads, tablets, laptops, etc.), but it’s completely optional—paper and pencils are provided for all participants.
About the Instructor:
Your instructor is a talented 3rd-year student in Sheridan College's prestigious Classical Animation program and an experienced artist passionate about helping others grow. Check out their work on Instagram: @kyontara.
Class Details:
- Designed for intermediate teens and adults
- Note: While students will not necessarily animate during class, the focus is on building the foundational skills for high-quality animation in the future

Cancellation Policy
NO refund unless class is canceled and No Refund Policy for Unforeseen Cancellations
In the event a class is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as inclement weather or other unforeseen situations, refunds will not be issued. However, the class will be rescheduled to ensure you don’t miss out on the experience. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
Credit Policy
Term Classes and Camps: Refunds or credits are not available for missed classes or camps. However, if you notify us at least 2 weeks in advance, we will issue a credit for future use.
