During these classes you will learn how to work with shape, value, and color relationships in order to create an interesting landscape composition, as well as how to mix colors and why they turn out the way they do. We will discuss light and shade and much more.

Materials List:
Paints – Winsor and Newton, Liquitex and Golden are good brands to consider.
Try to get a basic assortment of different colors:
- reds
- blues
- yellows
- paynes grey
- greens
- white
- browns
Brushes – A mixture of Flat, Filbert & Round in an assortment of different sizes. Have at least one 10/0 for fine details.Canvas – your choice of smaller size canvasses (not too huge please). As we progress you may explore larger or smaller canvas sizes.Other Materials: - Washable or disposable palatte

Michelle is a local artist and teacher who specializes in acrylics, oils and watercolours with line. She has exhibited and taught throughout the Niagara-Hamilton area and is currently teaching at DVSA and Creative Insight Pottery.
