Saturday March 22, 1-7pm & March 23, 10am-5pm
Spend a weekend with me in the studio making Big Pots. Breaking large work into small pieces, I will demonstrate sectional throwing, sectional centering, and explore some of the challenges and changes when scaling up pots. We will also discuss form, function, planning for glazing and finish details, and make some handles and lids along the way. This is a hands-on wheel throwing workshop, and participants should be able to center and throw 2-3 pounds of clay on the wheel to get the most out of the weekend.
