Thursday, 10-1pm

Ready to take your painting to the next level? In this course, we’ll move beyond the basics and dive into the vibrant world of colour. You’ll learn how to mix richer, more dynamic palettes and see how subtle shifts in tone can completely transform your work. Together, we’ll explore the power of light and shadow, experiment with the drama of chiaroscuro,
and practice smooth acrylic blending techniques. You’ll also discover how versatile acrylic mediums can be—adding depth, texture, and excitement to your paintings. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to create bold, expressive artworks that reflect your own unique style.

  • Long-handled paintbrushes: fine, medium, and large (minimum set)

A Note on Paints

As your skills grow, investing in a few professional-grade paints can make a world of difference. They offer stronger
pigments, smoother blending, and easier colour mixing. Even adding just one or two to your palette will instantly
elevate the quality of your work.
